Several items important to the growth and sustainability of Barrhaven East were advanced over the last four years, including the new police station, traffic calming, and road resurfacing. I also started the process towards widening Prince of Wales Drive north of Fallowfield and towards creating at least two fenced dog parks in the ward.

Productive discussions with the Queensway-Carleton Hospital and other partners to bring a community health hub to Barrhaven, as well as early discussions with external partners to improve local sports and recreation facilities also started.

That important work, and more, must continue, and I will continue to advance our community’s interests and needs.
